On the occasion, he stated that Indonesia still adheres to the "One China" principle.

Meanwhile, Wang Yi said that under the leadership of Chinese President Xi Jinping and Indonesian President Joko Widodo, relations between the two countries have improved significantly.

The two sides, said the member of the Chinese Governing Council or the coordinating ministerial level, have succeeded in implementing high-level cooperation mechanisms related to politics, economy, society, and maritime affairs.

"China will do its utmost to support Indonesia in holding the G20 summit next year," Wang said.
