TheIndonesia.id - PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) recalls 106 Palisade units produced from March 9, 2021, to March 31, 2021. The recall is a proactive step from the company to prevent the small possibility of brake fluid contamination which can affect braking performance when the car is traveling at low speeds.

The Hyundai Palisade was launched at the end of 2020 and has sold more than 2,100 units until November 2021. "As a company that always focuses on customers and following our global initiatives, Hyundai always puts customer safety and comfort as the top priority," said Makmur, Chief Operating Officer of PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia in an official broadcast, Wednesday, December 29, 2021.

"We continue to evaluate data from various sources and will not hesitate to carry out and expand the recall if necessary," said Makmur.

Hyundai Indonesia immediately contacted the owners of the affected units to bring their vehicles to the designated Hyundai dealers to carry out further inspections and the brake master cylinder replacement. The brake master cylinder replacement process said Makmur, only takes approximately 1.5 hours.

"In addition, customers are also entitled to receive a thorough inspection service for their Palisade units. All services are provided by Hyundai at no cost," he said.
