TheIndonesia.id - Two officers from COVID-19 testing center at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport tested positive for Omicron, and contact tracing found 14 people have also been infected with the coronavirus.

Commander of COVID-19 Air Task Force Col. Sus Agus Listiyono revealed that the two officers work in the administration desk for PCR test in Terminal 3.

“Initially, there were two officers from i-Lab and Farmalab. They work in the administration desk and the first to receive the [international flight] passengers,” Listiyono said on Monday, January 3.

It was later found that one of the two officers returned to the dormitory provided by their company in Kalideres, West Jakarta, where they live with dozens of other employees.

“The Farmalab employee lived in a dorm with 15 to 19 people. And currently, 14 other people have also tested positive,” he added.

Latest reports said all dorm residents have been moved to Wisma Atlet in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, to receive further treatment.
