TheIndonesia.id - The Director of Criminal Investigation at the Papua Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Faizal Rahmadani, stated that 12 people were involved in the assassination plot by mutilating four residents of Nduga Regency in Timika, Mimika Regency, Papua.

"Indeed, 12 people were planning to kill before the execution, including eight members of the Indonesian Army in the SP 1 Timika area, Mimika Regency, Papua, on August 20. In SP 1 there are three crime scenes," he said, in Jayapura, Wednesday, September 7, 2022.

He said that from witnesses' testimony during the reconstruction carried out in Timika, Saturday, September 3, it was revealed that a murder plan was led by a suspect who was a member of the Indonesian Army. The victims were determined by RMH, who is still in fugitive status.

The reconstruction shows the role of each of the perpetrators in the murder incident which was carried out by mutilating the victim's body and then put into six different sacks. Four sacks were containing the victim's body and two sacks were containing the victim's head and legs.

"The victim's body was dumped in the river around Pigapu and the body parts were found on August 22, but the sack containing the legs and head has not been found," he said.

He said the bodies of the four victims were still being kept at the Timika Regional Hospital and there was still one body waiting for the results of the identification carried out by the Papua Police forensic laboratory. The identities of the three victims' bodies have been identified, namely Irian Nirigi, Leman Nirigi, and Arnold Lokbere.

According to the information obtained by Antara, the 10 suspects in the case were Major HF, Captain DK, Private Head of PR, Private RAS, Private One PC, Private R, APL alias Jeck, DU, R, and RMH.
