TheIndonesia.id - For the Batak ethnic group of Lake Toba in North Sumatra Province, their handwoven textile, known as "ulos" is a significant symbol.

Quoting The Ministry of Tourism data, it is not only made to wear as clothing but serves as precious heirlooms, a symbol of status, or ceremonial gifts during rites in the human's life cycle.
