TheIndonesia.co - There were no death cases in Denpasar, Bali, on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, according to data of the Denpasar COVID-19 Task Force (GTPP).
Based on the data, GTPP Spokesperson, Dewa Gede Rai, said that the number of recovered cases had increased by five people. Meanwhile, the positive cases of COVID-19 increased by three people. The number of deaths was zero.
He stated that the cumulative positive cases of COVID-19 in Denpasar were 37,858 cases, the cure rate was 36,786 people (97.18 percent), the death tolls were 999 people (2.63 percent), and the patients that being treated were 73 people(0.19 percent).
Although the number of COVID-19 cases in Denpasar has been sloping, he found that the coronavirus's transmission remains. Therefore, he continues to urge the public to implement the health protocols.
"This condition must be a concern for all of us. If we get careless and ignore the health protocols, the COVID-19 cases will possibly increase at any time," he added.
In addition, the Denpasar Government also continues to maximize the vaccinations to the community. They are 12-17 years old school-aged children, pregnant women, and people with disabilities.
To reduce the death rate, the task force urged people with congenital diseases and seniors to be more disciplined in implementing the health protocols.
"Let's avoid crowds, always wear a mask, and wash your hands diligently after doing activities. Besides, let's apply the 3W (Watch your distance, wear the mask, and wash your hand)," said Dewa Rai.
