Foreigners who violated the health protocols are two Russian citizens, one Irish, one Romanian, one American, one British, and one Czech.

"In Bali, we expelled 7 people for violating the health protocol. So we expelled or deported 194 foreigners," Head of Legal and Human Rights Bali Province Regional Office, Jamaruli Manihuruk, said at his office, Wednesday, December 29, 2021.

He said they were expelled for violating Indonesian laws. They are processed at 4 Immigration offices in Bali. Ngurah Rai Immigration Office expelled 71 people, Denpasar Immigration Office as many as 38 people, Singaraja Immigration Office as many as 17 people, and Denpasar Immigration Detention Center 68 people. "In terms of deterrence, usually when they are deported, they are put on the black list and are not allowed to enter Indonesia," he said.

"Foreigners who do not respect the laws and regulations, should be suspected of being dangerous, we can expel them," he said. "That's why the other day there was a girl who tested positive for Covid-19 but she wandered off, as soon as we caught her, we kicked her out for violating the health protocol."
