Anneth, Lyodra Won Best Indonesian Artists at 2021 MAMA

TheIndonesia.co - Singers Anneth Delliecia and Lyodra Ginting took home awards in different categories at the 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA). Anneth won the Best Asian Artist for Indonesia category, while Lyodra won the Best New Asian Artist for Indonesia category. 

Anneth was known to the public after winning the Indonesian Idol Season 3 competition in 2018. The 16-year-old woman who is familiarly called Anneth Idol Jr has released several songs such as "Tetap Untukmu", "Mungkin Hari ini Esok atau Nanti", "Bakti" and "Takkan Berhenti Mencintaimu".

As well as Anneth, Lyodra also won the Indonesian Idol event, but for season 10 in 2019, beating the champion candidate Tiara Andini. So far, Lyodra already has a series of songs such as "Mengapa Kita #Terlanjurmencinta", "Kalau Bosan" and "Pesan Terakhir".

At 2020 MAMA, Rizky Febian was awarded the Best Asian Artist (Indonesia), Tiara Andini for the Best New Artist (Indonesia) category, and musician Yovie Widianto won the Best Composer of the Year category. 

The 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards ceremony, also known as 2021 MAMA, organized by CJ E&M and broadcast through its music channel Mnet, took place live on December 11, 2021. The ceremony was held at CJ ENM Contents World in Paju, South Korea.
