TheIndonesia.id - The Immigration Office Class II Immigration Checkpoint (TPI) Tanjung Pandan, the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, detained two foreigners from Pakistan, namely, TR (31) and AA (24). They are detained for an allegation of disturbing the people in Belitung.

"We are detaining the two foreigners in the Tanjung Pandan Immigration Detention Room," said Head of the Tanjung Pandan TPI Class II Immigration Office, Suyatno, in Tanjung Pandan, Friday, December 31, 2021.

According to him, the two Pakistanis were detained by Tanjung Pandan Immigration Office officers last Saturday, December 25, 2021, in the East Belitung region. According to reports, the two Pakistanis were found to have been selling Al-Quran and then asking for donations at mosques.

"The information we obtain is that they asked for donations with a little intimidation in four assemblies that they visited," he said.

Immigration is still studying the use of the donation, including its flow. "We are still conducting further investigations," he said.

Tanjung Pandan Immigration office officer is checking their immigration documents to define administration action to be imposed on them. "If you look at the immigration law, there are several immigration administrative actions such as deportation or requiring to be in certain areas and suspensions."
