TheIndonesia.co - Commission X of the House of Representatives has approved Mahendra Siregar to become chief commissioner of the Financial Services Authority, or OJK, for 2022-2027 period.
Head of Commission X Kahar Muzakir said the agreement was reached upon deliberation between members.
“It has been agreed after discussion regarding potential chief commissioner of OJK for 2022-2027 [that it’s] Mahendra Siregar,” Muzakir said on Thursday, April 7.
The economist previously underwent fit and proper test along with other candidate Darwin Cyril Noerhadi.

Deputy chief commissioner and chief of ethics committee: Mirza Adityaswara
Executive head of banking supervision and member: Dian Ediana Rae
Executive head of capital market and member: Inarno Djajadi
Executive head of insurance, pension fund, financing institutions, and other financial services institutions supervision and member: Ogi Prastomiyono
Head of audit board and member: Sophia Issabella Wattimena
Figure in charge for consumer education and protection: Friderica Widyasari Dewi
