TheIndonesia.co - Wuling Motors (Wuling) announced the launch of its first electric car in Indonesia, namely the Air EV which is marketed at IDR 238 million or USD 16,000 (Standard Range variant) and IDR 295 million or USD 20,000 (Long Range variant) for on-the-road in Jakarta.
"Today, we are proud to launch an electric car with a compact dimension with a future-tech design, namely the Wuling Air EV and also the first in the world. This is the real proof of Wuling to reinforce our commitment to Indonesia and bring an environmentally friendly life to our customers," said Wuling Motors Vice President Arif Pramadana in a press conference held on the first day of the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2022, Thursday, August 11, 2022.
This electric vehicle features ease of driving that allows users to move freely through urban challenges, like the air that can move freely. This vehicle that combines a touch of technology and futuristic is equipped with various innovative modern features, such as Intelligent Tech-Dashboard, Multifunction Steering Wheel, Integrated Floating Widescreen, and Futuristic Center Console.
Comfort is also the appeal of the roomy Wuling Air EV cabin with a 4-seater configuration with a 50:50 setting on the second row of seats to provide more access. This eco-friendly car has easy charging that can be done at home, guaranteed battery safety, a sturdy frame, and airbags.

Various smart features make it even easier when driving with Wuling Air EV. Wuling noted that thousands of consumers have pre-ordered Air EVs from July 11 to August 10, 2022, either through official Wuling dealers, online via Wuling.id, or the exclusive e-commerce partner, Blibli.com.

Meanwhile, Air EV and other Wuling product lines were also displayed at the Wuling booth at GIIAS at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), BSD City until August 21, 2022.
