TheIndonesia.co - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has invited Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto to attend the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Antalya, Turkey, scheduled for April 2025.
According to Antara News Agency, during a talk show, Erdogan confirmed the invitation, stating, "I invited President Prabowo to attend the Antalya Diplomacy Forum on April 11-12. He also promised to attend." The announcement was shared via a YouTube broadcast on Friday.
The Antalya Diplomacy Forum, established by the Turkish government in 2020, serves as an annual platform for global leaders, policymakers, academics, and business experts to discuss diplomacy and its role in fostering a better world through collaborative efforts.
The theme of the 2025 forum, organized by the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs under President Erdogan’s leadership, is "Reclaiming Diplomacy in a Fragmented World." The forum’s fourth edition aims to highlight the importance of diplomacy in maintaining stability amid global conflicts that could threaten unity.

Erdogan shared that during President Prabowo's visit to Turkey, the two leaders will first meet in Ankara, Turkey’s capital, before traveling together to the forum in Antalya.
Erdogan also expressed his gratitude for the warm reception he received during his state visit to Indonesia. He noted the heartfelt welcome from Indonesian citizens, particularly the enthusiasm of students and young people who lined the streets to greet him, describing the experience as deeply moving.
This year marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and Turkey.
