TheIndonesia.co - Falcon Pictures are remaking Italian comedy movie Perfect Strangers, and some of the biggest names in Indonesian cinema will star in the version.
Producer Frederica said the production house are proud to work on the project as the box office movie is a globally popular movie.
“As we know, it’s the most remade movie in the world, and to be trusted to make the Indonesian version is our pride – to also become part of Perfect Strangers family all around the globe,” she said on Friday, January 28, as reported by Antara.
Rako Prijanto, who will direct the movie, said getting all characters to get the same spotlight is the biggest challenge in the process.

“It’s different because all characters are the protagonist and antagonist, all at the same time; there are no main or side characters because everyone plays important role. The challenge is how [to make actors] perform naturally,” the director said.
The cast for the remake features some of Indonesia’s elite actors, including Vino Bastian, Adipati Dolken, Darius Sinatrhya, Denny Sumargo, Nadine Alexandra, Clara Bernadeth, and Jessica Mila.
Bastian said maintaining harmony between actors is a particularly delicate challenge in making this movie.
“To resolve that, [we] maintain communication and discussion between director and actors. The reading was also quite intense,” he said.
Perfect Strangers is a 2016 Italian film that has grossed more than US$31 million. It was directed by David di Donatello and has been remade 18 times, including in France, South Korea, and Turkey.
