On Saturday, December 4, 2021, a massive volcanic eruption on Indonesia's most populated Island destroyed properties and at least killed 14 people.
The eruption of Mount Semeru has forced 1300 residents to take refuge. 56 people suffered mild to severe burns, and nine people were missing.
