TheIndonesia.id - Kampoeng Kopi Banaran is a tourist destination located in the middle of a coffee plantation in Semarang. It is an agro-tourism area covering 39.11 hectares grown with robusta coffee plants. The place is situated at 480-600 meters above sea level.

By driving a jeep car, your adventure of exploring the coffee plantation begins. The trail is not easy at all. The jeep must go through the bumpy and muddy road.

The narrow soiled road is snaking between the coffee plants. You can see the red coffee beans hanging on the tree along your ride.

When you come on the rainy season, you will find the slippery road that complicates your jeep going uphill. However, that's the point of the adventure, right?

You don't have to be worry when your jeep is trapped because the drivers are experienced.

While going on this road trip, the driver will give you explanations along the way - just like a tour guide. He will tell stories about the coffee plant, the harvest, and the coffee bean processing.

This five-kilometer-long route is usually completed in about 40 minutes.

You have to pay IDR 250,000 (US$ 17.47) to rent the jeep. The car is for no more than four tourists. If you want a longer ride, you can take the 1-hour package at the cost of IDR 500,000 (US$34.95).
